Silent Night,Holy Night!

Well ya’ll there is only 1 more day before Christmas, if you haven’t gotten all of your Christmas shopping done, you still have time. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it is so easy to get in a rush and it is so easy to be hurried trying to get everything done before Christmas. We know it’s crazy out there; we have been to the malls and seen the traffic jams and the long lines at the cash register. It is so easy to get so busy that you don’t have time to think straight sometimes. But we’d like to encourage you to make sure you give yourself some time away from the hustle and bustle of it all this Christmas so that you can spend a quality Silent Night, A Holy Night, alone with God so that you can prepare yourself for the Christmas holiday.

Choose to create your very own Silent Night, Holy Night, get alone with God as Jesus did and pray.  Get away from the crowds, the cell phone, the emails, the TV, the doorbell, etc.  and just clock out from it all and tune in to God. During your time with God, reflect on the real reason for the season, Jesus Christ, become silent before God, and listen. Listen quietly with an intent to hear God, listen quietly with an intent to thank God, listen with an intent to feel God’s presence, simply listen. Listen.

Think about what God’s sacrifice of Jesus Christ has meant to you and ask yourself  how you can help spread the message of God’s sacrifice of Jesus Christ to the world to others who don’t know Jesus?  During your Silent Night, Holy Night, invite God into your Christmas gatherings and pray for all of those you will have contact with on Christmas day to ensure that your time on Christmas day will be beautiful and peaceful, and a true celebration of Jesus’ birthday celebration. If you are having trouble escaping from the fast paced hustle and bustle of it all, simply ask God to grant you time to be able to have some alone time for your Silent Night, Holy Night, free from the noise, the distractions, and the excessive needs of those that may need to try to consume your life, we’re sure that is a request that God will answer for you! God has been so good to all of us and undoubtedly most of us would not still be here if God was not on our side, because with all of the trials and problems that life has thrown at us, we would have been swallowed up, knocked over or knocked down or knocked out, but God, who is rich in mercy has kept us, so in return, be sure to keep your Silent Night, Holy Night with God after all, He will be waiting for you!

Merry Christmas and we hope you will enjoy your Silent Night, Holy Night with God!
