Re: Hurricane Ian

Our ministry has been advised that Hurricane Ian is making it’s way to our area in Florida and the hurricane should be here in a few days. Because hurricane ian is making it’s way to our area, we are under a severe hurricane watch according to our local news stations. Many people here in the area are panicking and hunkering down and bracing themselves for what could be unrelenting winds, horrendous rains and flying debris. Evacuation orders have been issued and instructions have been given for those who are in flood zone areas to get to the nearest shelter for safety.

We have been informed that we should all prepare for the worst because the storm could be bad. Our ministry staff believes that in times like these, it is wise to listen to and heed the advice of those in charge of reporting impending danger. We believe that it is wise to plan, prepare and adhere to the guidelines that have been prescribed by those reporting the weather forecast so that being safe, saved and protected can occur seamlessly!

Because of the approaching storm, and because of the many changes we have had to make because of the storm’s approaching arrival, social media posts as well as blog posts may be delayed or may not be able to be posted as usual. We hope to be able to resume normal social media and blog posting schedules as soon as the storm has departed the area and a sense of normalcy can return.
We ask for your prayers and continued support as we pray, watch and wait for Hurricane Ian to approach our area, because you are following us as we follow God!

Thou God allows storms to come, we have found that God is faithful, God can control the storm. God can limit what the storm can do! God can disallow, disengage, dis-empower and annihilate what the storm intends to do! Because of what we believe, we believe that God can and God will save us and preserve us in it as we hunker down to go through it! None of us likes storms but storms are a part of life.  Hurricane Ian may not be headed your way but you too may be facing some type of storm.  Storms can show up in your life as a weather nuisance, a family problem, a job problem, a sickness, a financial problem or it could manifest in some other way.

But no matter how God allows storms to show up in our lives, we all must keep a positive hope, and good faith that He who started a good work in us will be faithful to complete it, sustain it and protect it because we have entrusted our lives to God and claimed Him as our help, our strength, our hope and our refuge!

Following God and amazed by His Grace!
