As Christians, there are times when we can feel utterly drained and discouraged, worn down by the battles we’re facing day in and day out.  Being drained, becoming discouraged and feeling worn down by the battles that happens in life often happes as a result of feeling like you’ve been praying and believing God for a breakthrough, but your situation just doesn’t seem to be changing. Or perhaps you’re simply exhausted from the relentless grind of life’s demands, leaving you feeling depleted and disillusioned.

In those weary moments, it’s easy to lose sight of God’s faithfulness and start to doubt His goodness. We can become tempted to throw in the towel and give up on our dreams, we can oftentimes give up on folks, family members, situations that appear hopeless and circumstances that don’t seem to change no matter way. But dear friend, we’re here to remind you that giving up is not an option – not when you have God on your side! God is not absent from your life,  He is present, God hasn’t gone missing and then He has forgotten where He left you or what circumstances He might have allowed to happen in your life.

Quite the contrary, God is actively present in your life, He is working, moving and orchestrating circumstances to line up so that He can position you to be able to receive the breakthroughs He’s been planning just for you. For God to orchestrate the types of breakthroughs He wants for your life, it is a lot of work. There are a lot of variables involves, a lot of players, and a lot of orchestrating and moving that He has to do. In other words, real good breakthroughs take time!

If you don’t see God at work in your life, you gotta trust that He is working overtime to bring you the breakthrough you so desperately need. Even when it doesn’t feel like it, He is fighting for you and moving mountains on your behalf. It may take a while for you to see anything, get anything, feel anything, sense anything or know anything. But in times like these, God is like  electricity, you can’t see electricity working but you know that it is working because your power is on. Because God is like electricity He works and He is unseen, His power is always on in your life even if you don’t see it, can’t feel it, don’t sense, and think that it is really not working in your life.
