What if your prayers prompt your turnarounds?

When you pray to God, you are requesting something earnestly from Him and praising Him at the same time for all He has done for you. Prayer is a supplication or an entreaty to God, and it is a connection between you and The ALMIGHTY. It is like breathing, which has to be done without ceasing.

Prayer is also a two-way conversation between you and God; you talk to Him and He talks to you in return. Even though millions of us are praying to God in any given minute, He listens to each of us, individually, because He is omnipotent, omnipresentand omniscient (all-knowing) God. So you should never feel less important when you pray, because to Him, you are the only one.

Be confident that God is giving you His full attention, on a one-to-one basis. His line is never engaged, there is no call waiting and there is no conference call. He speaks to you only and no one hears the conversation between you and God. The bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:12, “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers.” He is a loving and kind Father and He wants to hear from you all the time.

Your prayers ascend to God’s throne, regardless of the time and the form you use. It is not the words we pray that matter but the condition of our hearts that matters to God. Whatever method you use, just talk to your Heavenly Father as He wants to hear what is on your heart. He wants you to spend time with Him. He already knows you, He wants you you to get to know Him.

Since God is omniscient and He only desires the best for us, He does not always give us what we ask for, if He knows that it will not be good for us to have it at a particular time.

God’s ways are not our ways and our ways are not His ways. His timing is always perfect and even though we may not understand why God does the things He does, we can have assurance in knowing that everything He does is perfect. Jesus told His disciples in Luke 18:1, “they should always pray and not give up”. Constant prayer means keeping our requests continually before God and believing that He hear us and will answer us.

If you live by faith and not by sight, you will not give up easily. God may delay answering some prayers but He has good reasons for His delays. We must never confuse this with neglect or denial to our prayers.  As you persist in prayers and keep knocking on God’s door, you will grow in character, faith and hope.Never, never give up. Keep looking up to the Almighty and be full of expectations from Him all the time.

In order to make the most of your time, take time to pray. When you can, step aside from your activities and prayerfully ask God to tune you to His Word and His will. Demands of work, family and church can require re-evaluation so that you can get your time in with God. We must not be too busy and neglect spending time with our Heavenly father. The time we spend with God is very important for our spiritual growth and very important to get your turnaround from God. As you pray to God, tell Him how you feel about where you are in life right now. Suggest to Him what you would like to see happen and what you want to happen. Take the time to read God’s Holy word the Bible, grab scriptures out of the Bible that you can hold on to and claim them until your turnaround from God comes,https://www.bible.com/. Remember, God always gives you a promise before the result of His promises manifests. God is not a man that He should lie, so have faith in God, trust in His word, He knows what He’s doing and when He is ready, He will bring your turnaround, you won’t have to go looking for Him, cause He will bring your turnaround to you!

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now and if you want Jesus to help you learn how to pray in ways that please God, then join us in this simple prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Savior, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Help me learn how to pray like you prayed. Help me learn how to walk like you walked, help me to live my life for God’s plans and purposes walking in ways that will please Him. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Congratulations, if you have prayed this prayer, Jesus Christ is now your personal Lord and Savior. Please look for a Bible-believing church, to fellowship with other Christians and to learn more about God, about Jesus and about your purpose in life. Be blessed and enjoy the presence of the Lord as you wait for your turnaround!
