What You’ve Been Praying For Requires the Fight You’re In!

More than likely You’ve been praying, right?

More than likely you’ve been Asking God for something over and over again, and chances are, your prayers have either not been answered, you don’t recognize the answer, or you don’t know for sure if God is answering. When times like this happen, that means,  You’ve been holding onto a promise, a word, a dream. But what if the prayers that you have been praying are what is producing the  very fight you’re trying to escape? What if God is answering your prayers, but you simply do not understand the answer,

don’t see the answer or don’t know if God is answering… Wouldn’t you want to know more about this? If so, I;m glad you wanna know more so, keep reading and let’s explore deeper…..…

Let’s tell the truth: the path you’re probably walking feels like punishment and not the answer to your prayers. What you have been going through or the load you are carrying is undoubtedly heavy. Exhausting… too much…. Lonely. Confusing.

You didn’t expect it to be this hard,  But what if God isn’t punishing you… He’s preparing you?

💥 The Hard Path You Didn’t See Coming

Well dear friend, when you pray, the path to what you’ve asked for isn’t paved with comfort. It’s lined with betrayals, abandonment, loneliness, littered with disappointments, shaken by lossdelaysconfusion, and the haunting silence of God. You expected open doors. What you got was closed mouthstight spaces, no one seems to care, and no one helps, and people you counted on walked away like you never mattered.

You’re left wondering:

  • “Did I hear God wrong?”
  • “Why does it feel like I’m being crushed for asking for something good?”
  • “Why does obedience feel like suffering?”
  • Why isn’t God saying anything?
  • What is God doing through this?
  • No one seems to know what is going on, and there are no answers.

⚔️ Be aware and be informed that God’s breakthroughs Are Camouflaged as Battles!

That’s the trick of it. The enemy doesn’t fight what isn’t a threat. That betrayal? That delay? Those problems? That setback? That unfair thing that happened to you? Those that don’t help or won’t help? That sickness? That problem child or problem family member?  That emotional torment and the thoughts whispering that you’re not enough? It’s not coincidence — it’s opposition wrapped in the disguise of circumstance.

Your breakthrough is hidden in what you want to quit over.

The pain you’re feeling isn’t always just pain — sometimes it’s pressure to push something through. That silent suffering, that emotional exhaustion, that feeling of being buried is often God’s way of planting you and preparing you for what you are praying for.

📜Here is a sample of God’s Way of It;

This is the way:

  • You pray for strength; God gives you resistance.
  • You pray for peace; God lets storms rage so you find peace in Him, not comfort.
  • You pray for impact; God lets you be crushed, because oil only flows from pressure.

The hard path isn’t a detour. It is the way.

Jesus Himself took the hard path.

Betrayed.

Rejected.

Beaten. Alone.

But it was the only road to the Resurrection.

And you don’t get resurrection without a crucifixion.

If it feels like you’re being crucified, you’re being prepared for resurrection.

🔥 Why God Allows It

God doesn’t waste suffering. Ever.

He’s not sadistic. He’s strategic.

He allows this to:

  • Refine your faith (1 Peter 1:7)
  • Reveal who’s really with you
  • Strip away false dependencies
  • Train your spiritual senses
  • Prepare you to carry what you prayed for

You don’t get to walk in promise without first walking through process.

🛡️ Techniques to Survive the Fight

You’re not crazy. You’re not weak. You’re in a spiritual war. And here’s how you fight back:

  1. Speak the Word out loud daily – It’s your sword (Ephesians 6:17).
  2. Guard your mind – Not every thought is yours. Reject lies.
  3. Stop isolating – Tell someone. Text a prayer partner. Don’t suffer in silence.
  4. Worship when it hurts – That’s how you train your soul to trust.
  5. Fast when direction feels unclear – Clarity often comes in the stillness of surrender.
  6. Talk to God more in prayer, really talk to God, but when you do this, expect God to pick a way to talk back to you!
  7.  God may not reveal what He is doing or what He is preparing you for or why He is doing it, but God will respond to your earnest talk with Him according to His timing in your life!

🧠 Hidden Insight: Why the Crushing Feels Personal

Here’s something most won’t say: God’s crushing process is custom. Tailor-made to cut through your specific strongholds, attachments, and fears. It feels personal… because it is. Not punishment. Precision.

He’s not trying to kill you. He’s trying to kill the thing that keeps killing your destiny.
God is pruning, revealing, and rearranging things according to His plans and or purposes for your life!

And yes — it is too much, and yes, it’s been too long, and it is understandable that you don’t like it, but it is what it is and sometimes God won’t change it no matter what you do. It has to feel real, it has to be real, because it is real. It is the method or strategy that God has chosen for you for such a time as this.

🙌 You might as well learn how to endure since it is not changing yet… Here are some examples of Endurance

  • Joseph was thrown into a pit, sold, lied on, and imprisoned — all because of the very dream God gave him. The betrayal? Necessary.
  • Job lost everything, felt abandoned, questioned everything — but God restored double.
  • Jesus was betrayed by His closest friends — but the betrayal led to the cross, which led to your salvation.

If they survived it, you can too.

👁️ God’s Viewpoint

He’s watching how you respond — not to judge, but to measure your maturity. Will you curse the season, or cling to Him? Will you harden your heart, or press deeper?

He watches to see:

  • If you’ll obey without applause.
  • If you’ll praise without breakthrough.
  • If you’ll trust Him when He says nothing back.

This isn’t a game. It’s a proving ground.

📝 What You Should Do Right Now

  1. Acknowledge the pain — but don’t live there.
  2. Speak life over your situation — daily.
  3. Stay planted in God’s Word — even when it feels dry.
  4. Ask God: “What are You forming in me through this?”
  5. Don’t quit. Don’t run. Don’t self-destruct.

📖 Two Scriptures to Anchor Your Soul

  • Isaiah 41:10 (NIV):
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
  • 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NLT):
“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever.”

🙏 Well ya’ll for now, that’s a wrap… Felt nudged by God to reveal this to you because many of you have been praying, and praying and growing increasing discontent because you might feel that your prayers are not working. YOUR prayers are working, they are just working differently than how you thought they were working. By revealing this to you, I’m giving you a “glimpse of how God is choosing to work during this season” so that it will empower you to keep praying, keep waiting, and keep holding on until God is ready to change what you are going through!

See ya soon!

Father,
Right now, they are in the middle of the fight of their life. They feel weary, wounded, maybe even forgotten. But God, You are not far. You are not silent. You are not finished.

You see every tear. You know every thought. You’ve caught every prayer they were too tired to pray out loud. Remind them that this battle isn’t in vain — it’s a passage to promise.

Strengthen their hands. Stabilize their heart. Silence the lies screaming in their mind. Surround them with Your presence. Speak louder than the storm. Let Your Word be louder than the warfare.

Where they feel crushed, let oil flow. Where they feel empty, fill them again. Where they feel hopeless, breathe new fire into their spirit. Let them not just survive this fight — let them come out transformed.

In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
