GOD’S PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO…ENTER IN…..

Looking through a camera lens clarifies what is needed to zoom in on a central theme of what is trying to be pictured. There is a   photography analogy, “Depression is the dark room satan takes you into to develop your negatives.” When satan wants to abort the destiny and plans God has in store for you, he does everything within his power to make you depressed. He uses people to attack you, things to afflict you and he even uses your own mind to keep you thinking about what you are afraid of and what hasn’t happened and what may happen. It is in this way that satan lures you into the dark room so that you can develop your negatives there. While you are in the dark room that satan has lured you into, you will undoubtedly become depressed.  Depression over your daily problems or world events will seize you and send you into a downward spiral of negativism. It  will hinder the joy  you  could be experiencing in your daily walk with Jesus and with God.

Depression can develop into a chronic, debilitating physical,spiritual and emotional sickness requiring medical intervention. Depression has visited everyone at some point and time in their lives, it does not discriminate and it does not care. Depression happens when you tend to magnify your problems and focus on all of the negative things, circumstances, and negative situations in your life. When this happens you will feel that there is either no hope for you or that the light at the end of the tunnel will never be found… but Jesus can help you. To carry the photography analogy further, the positive light of Jesus, filtered through the developing fluid of His powerful shed blood can develop those negatives into the positive image of you transformed by the way Christ handles those negatives in your life. You need to take your negatives and put them in Jesus’s hands for Jesus to cleanse them if this article has described you in any way. Jesus is your cleansing solution for a positive life.

1 John 1:9 in the Bible says, “If you will confess your sins God is faithful and just to forgive you of your  sin and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.” Jesus  suffered and died on the cross for our negative sinful lives,  He was buried and rose again to show us He won the victory. We  all may have reasons to be sad or even depressed, cause life can be downright terrible and very painful. But you do have a choice. You can take those negatives into God’s photography studio. You can have a transformed print of your life and even have a positive impact on others as you portray this to them. We all become vulnerable when we are transparent like this to others, but our transparency lets God’s light shine through us to reflect Himself to others. We all need to let our light so shine before men that they may see our Father which is in Heaven and glorify Him.  Once you give Jesus the negatives that you took into the dark room that satan baited you into, He will work on changing your negatives into positives. So when Jesus transforms your negatives into solutions then He wants you to share your new  pictures of  positive what God did in your life to others.  When you do this, then these others will turn to God to let Him develop their negative lives into positive ones in Him. God can give you a vision of people transformed by Jesus and His shed blood as a form of “developing solution”. That is how Jesus helps us love the unlovable. With the new positive pictures that Jesus gives you, you will need to choose each day to have access to God through Jesus by praying and reading his Word in the Bible to find His solutions for your negatives and downward spirals. The rewards include victory over sin, joy and peace, and a wonderful eternity in Heaven. If you are really fed up with being in the dark room that satan has baited you into, join us in saying the prayer below;

PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear God, thank you for opening my eyes to how satan uses the dark room to bait me into depression. I pray that you will help me and WIN International Ministries to trust in Jesus with the negatives in our lives. I pray that Jesus will  help me learn to put my negatives in His hands so that they can be turned into positive prints. May Jesus help me overcome my depression and mood swings. “May the Lord Jesus Christ put His hands on our eyes also, for then we too shall begin to look not at what is seen but at what is not seen. May He open the eyes that are concerned not with the present but with what is yet to come, may He unseal the heart’s vision, that we may gaze on God in the Spirit, through the same Lord, Jesus Christ, whose glory and power will endure throughout the unending succession of ages.” -Amen!
